About

I'm Drew and my passion is combining birding and technology to get more people interested in the natural world.

Way back in 2012, my brother and I built our first apps and websites for birders. I now work at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, managing the Merlin project, and working on the Macaulay Library and eBird teams.

I've had the opportunity to work on the best apps for finding and identifying birds, and look forward to taking advantage of latest advancements in computer vision, citizen science and crowd sourcing to make identification and birding resources available for the whole world.
